STEP 1: We diamond grind every floor, to prepare it for our commercial grade epoxy system. We don't bother cutting corners with acid etching, as it produces an inferior bondable surface. The machine is attached to our industrial vacuum dramatically reducing dust in the air.
STEP 2: After the grinding has been completed we once again thoroughly vacuum the entire floor to ensure a clean work surface. We then take the time to tape off your walls, stairs, hot water stands, garage door guides, etc. to prevent any overspray.
STEP 3: We are now ready to apply our commercial grade two part epoxy to the floor. The epoxy we use has been engineered to wick into the concrete providing an incredibly strong bond, no worries ever about hot tire pick-up.
STEP 4: Next to go down is the flake, we offer over 25 color options so you'll be sure to find the right choice for your floor. We apply the flake to rejection, simply meaning we apply the flake until the epoxy will no longer accept any longer. This ensures full coverage and a uniform finished look. .
STEP 5: Once the epoxy has fully cured (usually overnight) we will then lightly scrap the floor to eliminate any flakes that might be standing up on edge. We thoroughly vacuum again at which point we begin laying down the clear coat. We apply not one but TWO coats of non-yellow UV resistant clear coat to finish off your new floor providing a nice high build finished look.
The Finished Product: What was often an eye sore has now become a beautiful epoxy flaked floor that you'll be proud to show off to family and friends.
